MILFORD – The Stacy Middle School volleyball team has raised $1,300 to support individuals living with breast cancer.
Under the direction of Ms. Celeste Salley, the team hosted its annual Pink Out Game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to benefit the Milford Hospital Oliva Fund for Cancer Care.
Opposing teams Oliver Ames (Easton) and Nipmuc Regional (Mendon-Upton) also contributed to the fundraising effort. The Oliva Fund helps local patients by covering expenses related to cancer treatment that are not covered by insurance.
