MILLIS – Millis and Medway Animal Control Officer Erin Mallette has been recognized with the Richard Stein Award for Distinguished Service by the Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts.
Mallette received the honor at the association’s annual banquet.
According to the Norfolk Massachusetts Animal Control and Shelter, in addition to her animal control work, Officer Mallette is also a dedicated wildlife rehabilitator. They described her commitment to helping all animals as “unparalleled” and said her passion for educating other animal control officers about wildlife is “contagious.”
