BLACKSTONE VALLEY – State and local officials have ordered an immediate shutdown of unauthorized dumping near the Blackstone wetlands.
According to the Milford Daily News, a court injunction has been issued to stop all illegal waste disposal and wetland alteration at a site along the Uxbridge–Mendon border.
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection will conduct inspections to ensure compliance and prevent further environmental damage.
