If you saw or heard the helicopter over the woods off Wilson Street in Hopkinton Friday night, that was the Hopkinton Police Department looking for someone as part of a “well-being search”. Police Chief Joseph Bennett told the Hopkinton Independent it was never a matter of a danger to the community, but rather a person thought to need medical attention right away. He says after an exhaustive search with multiple agencies they did not find the person that evening and have not released any information since.
