The investigation continues into a July 4 fire in Grafton that destroyed a house and killed the family pets. It happened around 330pm at a home on Creeper Hill Road. The Grafton Fire Department says several area departments helped them to knock down the two-alarm fire and keep it from spreading. No one was home so no people were hurt but a dog and a cat died reportedly in the fire. The District 7 investigating team and the State Fire Marshall are looking into the cause.
