Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that destroyed a Mendon business Tuesday morning. Mendon Deputy Fire Chief Peter Ostroskey says 18 fire departments responded with mutual aid for the 630am fire at the Feeds ‘N’ Needs animal feed store on Uxbridge Road. Eight Engines, three Ladder Trucks and 12 Tankers were on scene to help keep the water supply moving because there are no fire hydrants in the area. Ostroskey says the bulk of the fire was out in an hour but crews were there until Noon.
