Local field hockey standout Kendall Gilmore has earned a spot on the Junior Women’s National Team and will soon represent both her town and country on the international stage. A key player for Uxbridge, Kendall helped secure the program’s fourth straight State Championship this past November. Now, as a junior, she is set to take her talents to Spain, where she hopes to lead Team USA to gold in a prestigious international tournament.
Kendall’s success extends beyond high school competition. Earlier this year, she committed to continuing her academic and field hockey career at the University of Maryland, an eight-time national championship-winning program. With her skill and determination, she looks to make an immediate impact at the collegiate level.
For Uxbridge, Kendall’s journey is a source of immense pride. She will compete for her country, join a powerhouse NCAA program, and aim to help her hometown secure a fifth consecutive state title in her senior season. Her accomplishments are a testament to her dedication and talent, making her one of the brightest young stars in the sport.
