Upton has a new Police Chief. The Town says Nicholas J. Palmieri will begin serving as Chief of Police beginning February 10. Chief Palmieri brings over 20 years of law enforcement experience, starting in New York City, then spending 12 years in Upton and most recently he has been in Franklin. He plans to focus on enhancing community engagement, more innovative crime prevention, and professional development of the officers. An official swearing-in ceremony will be held at Town Hall on February 27.
