By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Mendon-Upton Memorial Elementary and their PTO have raised over $28,000 with their recent Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser. The school and PTO hosted the Fun Run as an alternative to traditional product sales, deciding it was healthier and more exciting allowing the school to focus on fitness, leadership, and character. For two weeks kids created online fundraising pages and collected pledges online from family and friends culminating with the October 8 run, with most students completing about 30-35 laps.
