By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Silver Lake is closed due a big blue-green algae bloom. Grafton officials say when the beach staff arrived Thursday morning for their usual job duties, a visual inspection of the water indicated potential cyanobacteria blooms in the water which can be harmful to people as well as pets who go to the beach and into the water. They say out of an abundance of caution, Silver Lake is closed until they get a cyanobacteria test with favorable results and no one should be going into the water until the advisory is lifted.
