By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A new housing development has been approved for Westborough’s Fisher Street. At their meeting last week, the Planning Board approved plans for what they call a transit-oriented special permit for 18 one-bedroom units at 134 Fisher which is within 1500 feet of the commuter rail station. The Community Advocate reports it’s part of a two-phase development that would establish a total of 40 units on the site but the second phase cannot go through until the town’s current sewer moratorium is lifted.
