The idea is aimed at encouraging trash reduction and works like a utility where you pay a basic fee in the form of a car sticker that covers fixed costs and then a user fee based on the number of special navy-blue bags you toss. The annual sticker is $40 per vehicle – less for seniors – and the bags will cost $10 per roll and come in 15-gallons and 33-gallons. The Town is hosting information sessions: June 5 at the Senior Center and June 18 at Town Hall.
