By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A proposed ambulance transportation partnership could potentially help raise some revenue for the Hopedale Fire Department. Hopedale Town News reports at their last meeting, the Town Administrator told the Select Board they are looking at providing the discharge services for Milford Regional Medical Center for patients that are required to go by ambulance to another facility or to their home so the cost could be paid by insurance to the Fire Department. It would require hiring more people but would not impede any of the regular town ambulance needs. A full proposal will be presented soon.
