By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Ashland Police Chief Cara Rossi has a March hearing before the Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission in connection with a lawsuit over a sexual assault case involving a former Natick police officer and Natick police dispatcher. Rossi has been on leave in Ashland since last month. The Daily News reports she is named in a lawsuit with the victim alleging that Rossi, then a lieutenant with Natick Police, “aided and abetted” former Natick Sgt. James Quilty in the attack. He was convicted in 2022.
