More trees are going to be planted in Westborough. The Westborough Department of Public Works says they have gotten a $21,000 grant from the state Department of Conservation and Recreation to revitalize the town’s canopy. They say not only will the grant allow them to inventory and assess the current downtown corridor and its urban forest, but it will also pay for DPW to plant 50 trees in the downtown area.
