By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Uxbridge Special Town Meeting for the 2025 School Budget is less than a week away, on Tuesday, June 18 at 7pm at Valley Chapel. At last month’s Annual Town Meeting, voters said no to the district’s proposed $27.6 million budget with the superintendent saying some voters had mistakenly believed the district could be funded month to month while the budget was being reviewed, inadvertently leaving no funding at all effective July 1. It will need a two-thirds majority to pass at Special Town Meeting.
