Upton Seeks Redevelopment Proposals for Upton Center Area

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Upton town leaders have put out a call for ‘concept’ proposals to redevelop an area of Upton Center. It’s a five-parcel area: one parcel includes the former Holy Angels Church property, the town owns the other three, and one is privately owned. They say responses can be for all five parcels or a subset of them and currently there is no restriction on the type of use, as long as it “fits into the character of a traditional New England Village.” They are accepting proposals until April 25.
