Two hikers are said to be OK after getting caught in a blizzard on Mount Washington. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department says the women from Southborough and Westborough got stuck in deep snow at 5,000 feet on Sunday. They were found about eight hours later, cold but conscious, and were taken to a hospital. Fish and Game says they are experienced hikers and had the proper clothing and gear, but were overwhelmed when the white out conditions worsened, so they called for help and hunkered down. Once they found them, emergency responders had to warm up for 90 minutes before they could be brought down the mountain.
