By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – State police are helping Southborough police investigate a crash that killed a man from Marlborough Sunday night. Southborough Police say by the time they and firefighters arrived at the accident scene on Main Street the car was engulfed in flames with the driver pinned inside. Police are still trying to learn why 23-year-old Anthony Severance lost control of his car and slammed into a utility pole, starting the fire. The utility pole reportedly also came down on top of another car but no one in that car was hurt.
