MASSACHUSETTS – The SAFE Coalition will once again mark International Overdose Awareness Day with community flag-planting ceremonies across the region.
The annual worldwide event honors those who have died or been affected by overdose while helping reduce the stigma surrounding substance use disorders.
This year’s local observances will take place on Saturday, August 29th, in Franklin, Medway, Norfolk, Wrentham, and Millis. Community members interested in participating can register through the SAFE Coalition website at safecoalitionma.org/ioad.
