FRANKLIN – More than 100 workers in Franklin are reportedly set to lose their jobs as Postal Center International moves forward with major layoffs across its operations.
Postal Center International, which operates a facility on Hayward Street in Franklin and has locations in three states, has filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the state announcing phased layoffs affecting more than 450 employees companywide.
According to the Franklin Observer, the WARN filing indicates that 112 employees at the Franklin location are expected to lose their jobs.
The layoffs are expected to occur in phases as the company closes down operations and reduces its workforce.
