By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Plans for the Westborough Golf Club building are on hold. After an ask for $200,000 for designs to rebuild the structure and maybe add a restaurant was rejected at the October Town Meeting, the Select Board decided at their meeting last week to put the renovation discussion on pause. The Community Advocate reports voters were concerned the project would take money from the golf course and pro shop maintenance. Officials say the public doesn’t understand the building’s condition and may do an open house.
