HOPKINTON – MassDOT will begin a series of overnight ramp closures at the I-90/I-495 interchange Thursday as work continues on the major reconstruction project.
The closures will continue through next Thursday. The I-495 northbound ramp to Route 9 eastbound will also be closed Tuesday night through Thursday morning. A detour will be in place, sending drivers onto Route 9 westbound to reverse direction and return to I-495 southbound.
Drivers should expect delays and allow extra time when traveling through the interchange.
