MassDOT is scheduled to do some overnight closures in the I-495 / Mass Pike rebuild this week. Starting tonight and continuing through Friday morning, the ramp from Interstate 90 onto Interstate 495 southbound in Hopkinton will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. During the closure, traffic will be detoured up to Route 9 westbound (Exit 59B) to reverse direction back to I-495 southbound. The extensive rebuild to make the interchange safer and more efficient is expected to take until spring of 2027.
