HOPKINTON – A major traffic change is coming next week at the I-495 and I-90 interchange. MassDOT says the new ramp from I-90 westbound to I-495 southbound is expected to open Tuesday, weather permitting.
To prepare for the switch, crews will implement temporary lane closures beginning Monday night. The ramp opening is part of the ongoing multi-year project to improve safety and efficiency at the heavily traveled interchange and surrounding bridges.
