WESTBOROUGH/HOPKINTON – Drivers are just days away from using the newly rebuilt connector from Interstate 90 to Interstate 495 southbound.
MassDOT says the new ramp is scheduled to open to the public on Friday, July 10th, marking another milestone in the ongoing reconstruction of the I-90/I-495 interchange.
Before the new connector opens, crews will make several traffic changes. On Wednesday night, the temporary traffic split on I-495 northbound will be removed, returning traffic to its normal alignment. Then, from 8 PM. Thursday through 5 AM. Friday, lane closures will be in place on I-495 between Exits 58 and 59 while crews complete the final work needed to open the new interchange.
