MILFORD – Drivers should use extra caution at a new four-way stop on Congress Street at Walnut Street and West Walnut Street.
The intersection is now a full four-way stop, with solar-powered blinking stop signs on all four sides. Milford Police say the signs were provided by MassDOT through its All-Way Stop Control Program, which is designed to convert certain hazardous two-way-stop intersections into four-way stops.
Police are asking drivers to be especially careful while everyone adjusts to the new traffic pattern.
