By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Milford police have set their sights on anyone doing illegal dumping around town. They say it has gotten especially bad over the last year, calling it “disturbing” how much has been found in both private and public spaces. They say anyone caught dumping anything illegally will be fined the maximum allowed under state law which, even for a first-time offender, could be up to $5,500 with a second offense $15,000. Patch reports if you’re caught using a vehicle to dump 7 cubic feet of trash, they can seize the vehicle.
