By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Milford Police say many of the new cameras you are seeing around town are for safety, not traffic enforcement. In a social media post over the weekend the department says they’ve noticed a lot of discussion on community billboards over the fact that in recent weeks, in addition to their Flock cameras, several traffic cameras have begun to be installed at various intersections. They say these cams are an investigative tool and are not scanning for expired stickers, people running red lights, or other traffic infractions.
