A recent serious accident has Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino urging parents to talk to kids about how to use an e-bike. Tusino says on Monday a teenage boy suffered serious injuries after a collision with a car in which the kid’s head slammed into the windshield. The Chief says this year has seen a troubling surge in unsafe e-bike operations and in his 30 years as a paramedic, he has never seen such a rise in brain injuries. He is asking parents to take an active role by limiting their kids’ use of e-bikes, and watching the safety video they posted last month on the Milford Police social media.
