Medway Town Meeting Tonight to Address Zoning, Public Safety Plans

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Medway Fall Town meeting is tonight at 7pm at Medway High School. The warrant has 23 articles. One concerns creating a Multifamily Overlay District as a way to comply with the state’s MBTA Communities zoning law. Another calls for borrowing $7.9 million to design a new Public Safety and Town Hall Complex to replace the aging Medway police and fire stations and town hall. There are pages on the Medway town website detailing both of these articles and how town officials arrived at them.
