Medway is cracking down on people using dumpsters that belong to someone else. Medway Police say they’ve seen an uptick in people tossing trash into dumpsters they don’t pay for, whether it’s behind a business or in municipal bins. In Massachusetts, that is actually against the law and can cost you up to $3,000 in fines. Businesses and the Town pay quite a bit for waste removal so sneaking your old stuff in – particularly large pieces of furniture but really any trash – is essentially stealing.
