Medway Police Complete Cardiac Wellness Program for Officers

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Medway Police Department has completed a program to promote officers’ health. In recent years they brought in the SIGMA Tactical Wellness program which helps identify public safety personnel who are at high risk for a cardiac event due to the job demands and works to reduce the chance of a heart attack or stroke. Chief Kingsbury says all officers completed the program over the last several months and thanked the many town officials as well as Lieutenant Jeffrey Watson who put the program into action.
