Town residents are invited to the Medway Fire Department’s Change of Command Ceremony next month where they will honor Chief Jeffrey Lynch as he retires after 13 years of service to the Town of Medway, and nearly 50 years in all in the fire service. Officials say that also during the ceremony, Michael Fasolino will be sworn in as Chief of Department, and Thomas Irwin will be sworn in as Deputy Chief. The ceremony will be held at Medway Town Hall on September 9 at 10am.
