Wrentham residents will want to come to a Design Hearing for some changes to the intersection of Route 1A at North and Winter Streets. Mass DOT is holding the meeting October 14 at Town Hall so residents can get fully acquainted with the proposal. Engineering officials say they can improve safety by installing a new traffic control signal and adding wider sidewalks and designated bike lanes on Route 1A. North Street and Winter Street would get a 6-foot one-way shared-use path in each direction.
