A lawsuit has reportedly been filed against the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association in Franklin asking for the release of records containing incidents of discrimination, harassment and bullying at sporting events. The Franklin Observer reports the lawsuit was filed this week by a group called Lawyers for Civil Rights saying they need the information to assess the MIAA’s process for responding to incidents. The group reportedly asked for records in June but say what they got was inadequate.
