By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – About 400 people showed up Wednesday night at Franklin’s Joint Town Council and School Committee meeting to discuss possibly putting a tax override on the ballot. Franklin Matters reports in addition to those there in person, at least 800 also watched the meeting on Franklin YouTube. After hearing all the data and public comments, the Town Council said they will use their May 1 meeting to decide if they will ask for it and for how much it would be and then they could figure out what failure to pass would mean.
