By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A proposed International Marathon Center has gotten a thumbs up from the Hopkinton Select Board. At their meeting this week the Board got an update on the project from the 26.2 Foundation and the architect. The Hopkinton Independent reports the Center would have featured exhibit areas, several spaces for rental and activities, a 250-seat theater and educational rooms on health and fitness. The $35 million Center would reportedly be privately funded. It would be located on East Main Street.
