By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton has a new Trails Committee. This week the Select Board appointed nine members to the new committee which, following a vote by Town Meeting last year, replaces two other committees which had sometimes worked at cross purposes or clashed with community members over proposed routes. The Hopkinton Independent reports thirteen people applied for the nine seats including some members of the previous two committees. They have terms of varying lengths, from one to three years.
