By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton Reservoir has been restocked with thousands of trout thanks to some local kids. MassWildlife held a restocking event Wednesday as part of an effort the Milford Daily News reports is intended to get kids familiar with their environment. In all, MassWildlife plans to put half a million new trout into state waterways this spring. The trout are grown in state-owned hatcheries and officials say they are a great fish to stock in lakes because not only do we catch and eat them, so do eagles and hawks.
