By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton Police are thanking the public for all the tips that helped catch a guy who drove his car onto the Hopkinton Country Club golf course last week. After they posted pictures of the car on their social media, police say detectives worked with tipsters and issued an arrest warrant for Ian Mahoney of Princeton. They say Mahoney turned himself in to Framingham District Court yesterday. Investigators say he not only did significant damage to the grounds but he came dangerously close to several golfers.
