Adding more parking on a stretch of Claflin Street is on the minds of the Hopkinton Planning Board. At their latest meeting they discussed a special permit for off-street parking for seven spaces for a four-unit development in the downtown business district on a narrow portion of Claflin. The Hopkinton Independent reports neighbors opposed it due to issues with space, flooding, snow removal and lack of sidewalks. The Board decided to continue the conversation until after they can walk the site later this month.
