By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton’s Conservation Commission has admonished a developer for the loss of several trees at the Elmwood Farms III subdivision. The Hopkinton Independent reports at their meeting this week the Commission chastised the developer for not realizing his contractor was removing trees within a buffer zone in the project off Blueberry Lane and then not immediately reporting it to the Commission when he discovered it. The Commission Chair has reportedly called for “consequences and mitigation.”
