HOPKINTON – Hopkinton is taking steps toward a more sustainable future by exploring the use of zero-emission vehicles for town departments. The Select Board this week approved a draft policy outlining the transition.
According to the Hopkinton Independent, the proposal has support from multiple departments, including police and fire, and could make the town eligible for state grant funding. The draft policy passed with a 2-1 vote, with two members abstaining.
