HOPEDALE – Hopedale Town Administrator Mitch Ruscitti is officially leaving the town for a new position in Swansea. The Swansea Select Board has announced that Ruscitti will begin serving as Swansea’s Town Administrator on July 6.
Ruscitti has led Hopedale since 2023 and previously held several municipal roles in Milford, where he resides. His departure comes as he is reportedly involved in a $500,000 lawsuit against two Hopedale town officials alleging defamation and related claims. The lawsuit remains pending.
