By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Not so fast for the owners of a 134-year-old Holliston farm house who want to tear it down. The couple who bought the home on North Mill applied to the town for a permit to demolish it to build a new home. The Daily News reports the Historical Commission has invoked the town’s demolition delay bylaw, putting in a 6-month waiting period to gather information about the home’s potential historic value. The couple claims there was never any legal indication during their purchase it might be historic and they say the home, which is in disrepair, has a lot of modern elements.
