Help Needed: Franklin Public Works Surveys Water Pipes for Potential Lead Components

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Franklin Public Works Department needs your help with a federally mandated survey of the water pipes to identify any possible lead components. Officials say while there have been no identified instances of excess lead in Franklin water, they are mandated to check it out. The DPW is using GIS mapping to organize the historical records about pipe size, material, and installation but they need you to fill in the gaps at your home.
