By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin’s 2nd Annual Ladybug Trail Spring Walk is this Saturday April 20 in Downtown Franklin. Walk the Ladybug Cultural and Historical Trail any time throughout the day with a free map you can get at the Franklin Historical Museum. The Ladybug Trail highlights historical and artistic sites. At 11am State Rep. Jeff Roy will speak about ladybugs and lawmaking which will be followed by a reunion of the 1974 “Ladybug Kids,” who as second-graders successfully lobbied the legislature to make the ladybug the state insect.
