Franklin Police K9 Frankie has made her first official “friendly find”. K9 Frankie and her handler Officer Gove are certified for tracking missing kids, individuals with autism, those suffering from dementia, lost hikers, or any search for non-violent people. Frankie and Officer Gove responded to a nearby community to help find a missing girl who was suffering a mental health crisis. They say they found the girl hiding in some woods and were able to sit and talk with her until the Franklin Police Department clinician got there.
