Celebrate the Town of Franklin’s Birthday with a party at the Franklin Historical Museum on Sunday. The Franklin Observer reports March 2 will mark 247 years since the Massachusetts legislature approved plans for the North Parish of Wrentham to become the new town of Franklin. Plans are still being finalized but there is definitely a celebration this Sunday March 2 from 1-4pm at the Museum with cake, refreshments, and Franklin-centric trivia contest.
